In The Beginning

It's Saturday, the perfect day to try and start a Blog. I hope that whoever reads this will find it to be interesting. Not really a personal blog, it will reflect more of my views and opinions than anything else. Enjoy!
By the way, if anyone finds anything in this blog they think is copyrighted or should be removed, tell me about it and it will be taken care of immediately.
-- John Mc Cain has several personal issues he needs to be dealing with right now. Not only is his campaign a bit of a mess, but it seems he can't get his story srtaight on another issue in his past -- Like his marriage. It appears that Senator McCain was still living with his wife while he was dating his next wife to be. Also, he had applied for and received the wedding license to marry his second wife before the divorce to his first wife was finalized. Hmmmm......does the word bigamy come to mind here?
-- Eric Shanteau, the swimmer who has just qualified to participate in the Summer Olympics, was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He has decided that as long as the cancer doesn't spread he will forgo treatment until after the Olympics in Beijing.
-- Gay Star Trek episode -- Last March, the team of fans behind Star Trek New Voyages began producing 'Blood and Fire' a gay-themed script originally written for Star Trek: The Next Generation in 1988 by 'The Trouble With Tribbles' writer David Gerrold. The story would have included the franchise's first gay couple and dealt with a deadly disease that worked as an analogy to AIDS, but the episode never was filmed. It is now ready to be shown and it has been revised to reflect Star Trek: The Original Series. The gay charcters are the nephew of Captain James T. Kirk and his partner.
